Beatriz Oyarzabal and Chie Teramoto constitute a duet of lyric singing and piano, the repertoire goes from opera arias to traditional Mexican music. They propose national and international music pieces in their project, from formal music interpretation, keeping always the Latin American and Mexican music values. In July and August of 2014 they present several concerts in Mexico, including Mexicali, Mexico City, Monterrey and Guadalajara. They propose to continue presenting themselves in Mexico and other countries, promoting so the Mexican and foreign composers in their profuse production.


Beatriz Oyarzabal, mezzo soprano

Born in Mexico, begins her piano studies in the Franz Liszt music school at Mexicali, Baja California, in 1985. In 2002 she studies vocalization with the Maestro Salvador Caldera and sings with the Sinfonic Choir of Mexicali. In 2006 studies singing in Livorno, Italy. Continues her studies in 2009 in Florence, Italy. In 2010 enters the Luigi Querubini Music Conservatory, graduating in Vocal Chamber Music in 2013, where today she studies Renaissance and Baroque singing. Since 2008 she participated in the choir of the Opera Festival Company in Florence. She participates in the choir with Andrea Bocelli at the "Teatro del Silenzio".  Since 2012 has participated in the choir with the Maggio Formazione of Florence. Debuts as Dante Apprentice in the sacred comedy "La Musica de la Comedia", in Florence and in Cologne, Germany.


Chie Teramoto, Pianist

Born in Japan, graduates from the Nagoya University of Arts, where she debuts singing as Querubino, in an edition of the Marriage  of Figaro, presented in 2002 at Nagoya and in 2003 at Tokyo. In 2006 she lives in Vienna, Austria, studying at the Gustav Maler Conservatory. In 2007 she moves to Florence, Italy, where she perfects her skills in Italian language and piano, organ and singing. At the same time she sings in the choir of Opera Festival of Florence, Italy and works as a Maestro at the San Feliche Music Accademy and at the European Accademy of Florence. In 2010 she goes back to Japan, where she works as a Maestra at the Nagoya University of The Arts and at the Aichi University of The Arts, and accompanies at the piano the Riosuy Men Choir.
